The Singaporean Concertino is a newly minted performing arts company that connects the local community with the meaningful classical music experiences. Through bite-sized, audience-centric concerts and workshops, the company seeks to encourage collaboration, inclusivity, and compassion while serving as a platform for Singaporean artistes to develop and become catalysts of change.
PERFORMANCE
The concertino is a versatile music ensemble that has performed frequently as a voice and piano duo, string quartet and piano quintet with multiple voices. Although its repertoire range from both instrumental and vocal classical music, the ensemble often experiments and explore folk, film, musical theatre and early music in different unconventional performance spaces.
EDUCATION
Musicians of the concertino are experienced music educators who work regularly with schools, universities and community organisations as lecturers, conductors, and principal players. With past-experience presenting NAC-AEP school assembly shows and music workshops with the National Silver Academy, do consider hiring us for community talks, corporate programmes or even private music lessons.
